I am happy to announce a partnership with another Chicago artist, Mike Stidham. We just launched an Indiegogo Campaign to fund our collaboration, "Identity Workers". This project will produce a number of 48"x96" portraits of people that perform 'Identity Work'. Essentially, Identity Work is performed by Identity Workers, and is a kind of emotional work that involves projecting a specific version of yourself in order to make sure people in mixed context won't feel threatened or alienated or uncomfortable. Identity Work is not mentioned by name, it is not valued by society even though so many of us do it, and being able to make yourself v
